Scott Gelormino

Scott Gelormino is a successful entrepreneur with extensive experience in product innovation, packaging, manufacturing, marketing and sales.

In 1993, Scott founded the Innovative Concepts Corporation. In the ensuing twenty 23 years he has successfully developed this company by creating over 200 products and bringing them to market. In addition, he has developed over 1500 product package designs and has created multiple trademarks and patents. In his career, Scott has created innovative finance for $200 million in sales and has overseen successful stock offerings both publically and within the State of Connecticut. Scott has also developed factories in support of product manufacturing in China, Taiwan, Thailand and in the USA. He is ISO certified and has extensive experience in working with factories to setup and initiate social compliance and factory audits. He has created third party testing protocols and worked with factories to establish effective testing processes to comply with delivery standards.

Scott has created proprietary Trademark Brands for DuraPro (Hand and Power Tools) and MegaBrite (Portable Lighting). He has completed market evaluations to determine marketing strategies and demographics in the launching of new products in competition with major national brands. He has signed major licensing agreements with companies such as Proctor & Gamble, Duracell, Jeep, and Real Tree. He has also worked with the NFL to obtain licenses for proprietary items.

Scott has called on virtually all major retail providers in the USA and Canada and has established a national independent sales representative network to support the product sales process. He has television retail experience with QVC, HSN, and Shop HQ.

He has appeared as an “On-Air Guest” on QVC and has successfully sold in excess of $20 million of product through this medium.

Scott is known for his business acumen and as a product innovator and manufacturer. He was recognized by the Hartford Business Journal and received their “40 under 40” award. He was awarded Target’s “Vendor of the Year” and earned the NFL’s “Licensee Rookie” designation.
